Repaying the Debt After the Currency Drop

Question
I lent my brother money for my orphaned children nine years ago, and my brother acknowledges the debt, but he cannot repay it. He advised his children and his wife that if our inheritance from our father's house is sold, they should give my children an amount of one million Syrian pounds if the price of his share allows it, of course. It is known that one million in Syrian currency has become a trivial amount, and the currency is declining and dropping. Am I sinning if I ask my brother to amend the will to give my children gold coins equivalent to the value of the million? I mean, we are now asking how much gold can be bought with a million, and he should bequeath these coins to the children in the future?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: You must speak to your brother about this to preserve the rights of the orphans, and he must respond and value the debt in gold so that he can pay them whenever possible due to the significant drop in the currency, and God knows best.
