Repairing Old Endowed Qurans and Distributing Them
There are Qurans in a mosque that no one reads, and some of them have been neglected. Some people want to take them to bind them and distribute them to individuals so they can read from them and benefit; because the owners of these Qurans are unknown, is it permissible to do that?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: These copies of the Quran are usually designated for reading in these mosques, so it is not permissible to remove them, and God knows best.
