Renewal of Residence for the Traveler and Shortening the Prayer Therein
A traveler from Hama to Aleppo stayed there for 14 days, and was about to return to Hama when work came to him, so he had to stay for another three days. Should he shorten the prayer during this time or complete it?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: He continues to shorten the prayer; because he did not intend to stay more than fourteen days, and God knows best.
