Regulations for a Girl's Education at University
Education at universities may require travel and staying away from home for a week or more, and as is known, there is mixing between men and women at universities. What is the ruling on girls studying at these universities? What is the ruling on a girl staying in a safe student dormitory? What are the Islamic regulations for her education in such universities?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If the road is safe, the residence is secure, and the girl is trustworthy and has a good company, it is permissible on the condition that it does not lead to temptation for the student, and God knows best.
