Regret for Missing Ramadan Worship
When Ramadan began, I would fast and pray the obligatory prayers, voluntary prayers, and Taraweeh for the first 10 days. I have always done this every year, but this time I and my mother contracted COVID-19, and my mother had no one to care for her. So I could only fast and pray the regular prayers because I was ill. Now I feel distressed because I did not fully observe Ramadan. What do you think? Do you believe I have fallen short as I think?

I say, and with God's success: It is hoped that your fulfilling your duty towards your mother has the reward of standing and abundant worship. If you are unable to perform additional acts of worship due to being occupied with service, you are excused in that, and God knows best.
