Refusing to Lend Household Tools to Neighbors
A lady says that her neighbors are in a better financial situation than hers, and sometimes she refuses to lend them her household items due to the frequency of their requests. Is she sinful if she refuses to lend them?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Lending is recommended if it helps and assists others, and if it does not and causes harm to the lender, it is permissible for him to refrain, and God knows best.
