Recovering Money Without the Owner's Knowledge
I have money with my mother; is it permissible for me to recover it without her knowledge?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If you do not have a means to retrieve it except without her knowledge, it is permissible; otherwise, you must retrieve it with her knowledge, and God knows best.
