I say, and with God's guidance: God knows what was and what will be, and what God knows is His attribute, and we do not know what was and what will be, and this is our attribute as servants. We are given choice in what we do, and we are held accountable for our actions, so we should not confuse our attribute with the attribute of God Almighty. His being an all-knowing God and our being servants with choice, for which we are accountable, means we can choose what we want and do as we wish, independent of God's knowledge. However, His being God necessitates that He knows that; therefore, in God's eternal knowledge, He has destined everything and decreed that it would be thus, and by our prayers, it will be thus. All of this goes back to His attribute as Creator, so we must pray for what He wants to be realized, as our Lord has promised us, and God knows best.
