Receiving Payment for Work from a Usurious Bank
I am a carpenter, and one of my clients has approached me with a request, offering a price for kitchen cabinets at a real value. However, this offer will be presented to a usurious bank to take out a loan. What is the ruling on this?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Your work is permissible in the kitchen industry, but your dealings with the bank are religiously prohibited, and God knows best.
