Reading the Quran Without Reflection
What is the ruling on reading the Quran without understanding some of the verses? Is there any reward and good deeds in it?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Recitation has a reward, and understanding and contemplation have a reward. It is preferable to read from an interpreted Mushaf to clarify the meanings of words and verses, which will lead you to contemplation. And God knows best.
