Question

I hear from some people that having more than one Mushaf in the house and not opening them is considered abandoning the Quran. It is known that one reads the Quran from one Mushaf; this is what I have heard. I cannot speak without knowledge of the opinion that it is permissible to read from one Mushaf and that it does not constitute abandoning the other Mushafs present in the house.

Answer

I say, and with God's success: As long as he reads the Quran from a Mushaf, it is not considered neglecting the Quran due to not reading from other Mushafs. However, if he does not have anyone in his family who needs the Mushaf, it is better to give the extra Mushafs to those in need of them, and God knows best.
