Reading a Surah in the Four-Rak'ah Obligatory Prayer
In the voluntary prayer that consists of four rak'ahs, is it necessary to recite something from the Quran after Al-Fatiha in each of the four rak'ahs?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: A short surah must be recited after Al-Fatiha in all units of prayer, and if it is forgotten, prostration of forgetfulness is required, and God knows best.
