Raising and Lowering the Voice in the Takbir of Ihram
Is it required to raise or lower the voice during the Takbir of Ihram? What is the sin associated with either of these actions?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is recommended for an imam to raise his voice so that the worshipper can hear him, and if he does not do so, he is wrong for neglecting the Sunnah, and God knows best.
