I say, and with God's guidance: If you have purified yourself for the duration of a prayer time or more, you must pray and fast for Ramadan. If the bleeding returns before forty days, then the entire duration is considered postpartum bleeding, and the prayer and fasting are invalidated; because it has become clear that you are in a state of postpartum bleeding, and God knows best.
