Prostration and Supplication After Prayer

Question
After the prayer, I prostrate twice and say in them 'Glory, Holy is our Lord, the Lord of the angels and the Spirit' 5 times, and between them I recite Ayat al-Kursi and supplicate to Allah with whatever comes to mind. Is this permissible or is it an innovation? Also, after every prayer, I prostrate once as a thankfulness to Allah and glorify and thank Allah with it. Is this permissible or is it an innovation?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is preferable to perform these glorifications while sitting after the prayer without prostration; because this is the well-known practice in transmission and action, and God knows best.
