Pre-Agreement for Sale for the Desire to Obtain Full Money
I agreed with a person to buy a car for him through an Islamic bank, while the transaction is in my name, knowing that the price of the car is twelve thousand dinars, and he will take it from me and pay me the full amount, and I will repay the amount to the bank, and in this case, I will owe the bank fourteen thousand dinars. Is this transaction permissible according to Sharia?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If you bought the car through the bank for yourself, then sold it to someone at any price you wanted, it is permissible; because they are two separate transactions, and each of them is permissible according to Islamic law, and God knows best.
