Praying to God to Keep You
Is it true that 'God keep you' which we say in colloquial means 'God leaves you'? And have we been cursing each other all this time when we say 'God keep you'?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: it means God protects you, preserves you, and takes care of you; it is a prayer for us, not against us, and God knows best.
