Praying Taraweeh While Sitting
I pray Taraweeh and read from the Mushaf while sitting, then I stand for bowing and prostration. Is my action permissible?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to sit during the voluntary prayer such as Tarawih, and there is a difference of opinion regarding praying from the Mushaf, and it is permissible to overlook this, and God knows best.
