Praying Alone at Home
When I pray alone at home, do I start the prayer immediately with the Takbir al-Ihram, or should I establish the prayer first before starting?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is disliked for a woman to call the Iqama, so she prays without it. It is recommended for a man, even if he is alone, to call the Iqama before his prayer, and God knows best.
