Prayer After Fajr Adhan
In our mosque during the Fajr prayer, some worshippers, especially those who arrive before the second adhan, perform four or six rak'ahs before the establishment of the Fajr prayer. Is this permissible?
Answer
I say, and with God's help, after the first Fajr call to prayer, it is permissible to perform voluntary prayers as you wish, but after the second Fajr call to prayer, it is disliked to pray anything other than the two rak'ahs of the Fajr Sunnah, and God knows best.
