Postponing the Fasting of Ramadan to Another Year

Question
Is there no sin on someone who has delayed fasting what they missed in Ramadan for more than a year, and do they not need to pay a compensation? I heard from the lessons that there is no obligation for compensation when delaying fasting for more than one Ramadan, but it is agreed that they are sinful and owe compensation for each day?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The making up of Ramadan is to be done leisurely according to Abu Hanifa, and there is no sin in delaying it, nor is expiation required for the passing of more than a year. It is preferable not to delay it in order to clear one's obligations from the duties, and God knows best.
