Placing a Dove on the Navel for Healing from Liver Disease
There is a folk remedy for healing from liver disease by placing a dove on the patient's navel, which supposedly draws out the bile from the liver, and the dove dies immediately. Is this permissible according to Islamic law?

I say, and with God's guidance: If it is scientifically correct and does not harm the patient, it is permissible, and God knows best.
