Question
I read your fatwas permitting the exposure of the private parts for laser treatment. How do you allow this when there are other methods that do not require exposing private parts, knowing that laser treatment involves repeated sessions exposing these areas? What is the basis for this issue, as everyone who hears about it is astonished?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The fatwa is based on the fact that revealing the gender to the gender is lighter and easier if there is a need and interest, as is the case with repeated female examinations among women, and in a woman's adornment for her husband, which serves their mutual needs, especially after the spread of aversion among spouses due to the lack of attention from wives to themselves. Perhaps the use of laser cleaning has a necessity and interest that permits such exposure. I understood that such a procedure is done only once, resulting in complete cleanliness for the woman. However, after inquiring and investigating the matter, it became clear that it needs to be repeated several times to achieve cleanliness in the private area, and that it returns to the woman after years, necessitating a return for cleaning again. It was also found that there are special devices that can be purchased and perform a similar function, and the cost is not significantly different. Therefore, it is not permissible for a woman to expose her private parts multiple times in front of women for this purpose, unless she is the one removing hair from the private area herself without exposing her private parts in those areas, as some have stated. Those who wish can purchase this device and do it themselves, thus achieving the interests mentioned earlier. All this permissibility is conditioned on the absence of harm to the woman in using this device for removal; otherwise, it is not permissible. And God knows best.
