Permission to Take from Trust Money
My mother's income comes from donations and zakat, and because she forgets, she gives me this money to keep for her and to spend on her. I take from it what I need for my house. Is this permissible, and will I not be sinful if I take what I need, given that my mother has given me permission?
Answer
I say, and with Allah's help: If your mother has permitted you to use some of the money, it is permissible for you, within the limits necessary for your needs, and you should fear Allah regarding this money, and do not spend it for anything other than necessity. And Allah knows best.
