Permanent Contraception Due to Poverty
I am a mother of five children and my husband does not have a stable job; sometimes he goes without work for a year and sometimes even longer. I do not have a job either, and I cannot get pregnant anymore. Is there anything I should be concerned about if I undergo a tubal ligation?

I say, and with God's success: It is permissible for you to tie the tubes if it does not harm you, and you can give birth in the future if you wish to do so. If the procedure definitely causes a cessation of childbirth, then it is not permissible to carry it out, and God knows best.
