Performing Umrah on behalf of others
I performed Umrah on behalf of my friend's son, who is 15 years old, physically disabled, and has a mental delay. Is this Umrah accepted on his behalf?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Umrah is a Sunnah, and it is permissible to perform it on behalf of others. We ask Allah, the Exalted, for acceptance, and Allah knows best.
