Performing Umrah on behalf of a living person
Is it permissible to perform Umrah on behalf of my mother while she is alive, and what are the conditions for that?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible to perform Umrah on behalf of the living and the dead, and it is valid if one enters the state of Ihram with the intention of performing it on behalf of the specified person, and God knows best.
