Payment of the Wife's Debt by the Capable Husband
Is it permissible for the husband to pay off his wife's debt voluntarily, even if she is capable?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: this is a donation and a favor from him, so it is not prohibited by Sharia, and God knows best.
