Paying Zakat to the People of Gaza
Is it permissible for me to donate my Zakat to our people in Gaza through the current campaigns on the subject?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The people of Gaza are more deserving than others of donations and zakat at this stage, but we must verify that it reaches them correctly, and God knows best.
