Paying Zakat to the Maid
Is it permissible to give zakat to the maid who works in his house and is from Bangladesh, and her religion is Islam?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible to give zakat to the maid if she is poor and does not own 100 grams of gold, and God knows best.
