Paying Zakat to Someone Avoiding Military Service
Is it permissible to give zakat to a young man who wants to travel outside Syria to avoid military service? Knowing that he has graduated from his studies and his family is poor?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If he is poor, it is permissible to give him zakat, and God knows best.
