Paying Zakat from the Zakat Amount
Is it permissible to pay Zakat from the Zakat amount that I received? For example, if someone gave me Zakat of 10 dinars and my Zakat is calculated from this 10, is it permissible?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: You must pay your zakat from your own wealth, not from money given to you. And God knows best.
