Paying Zakat from Its Kind
A woman is obligated to pay zakat but does not have any cash to pay it. Is she required to sell some of her gold to pay this amount?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Zakat must be paid without delay; whenever you are able to pay the zakat, it is permissible to give it. It is not necessary to sell the gold and pay it now, and God knows best.
