Paying Zakat for the Sister Whose Husband is Traveling
My sister's husband is traveling, and his situation is very good. There is no communication between them, and he does not send her any money. They have three children that she supports. She has gold that she sells to manage her expenses. Is it permissible for her to receive Zakat?

I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to give zakat to a poor sister even if her husband is wealthy, and you will receive the reward of zakat and the reward of maintaining ties, and God knows best.
