Paying Zakat for Quran Education
Is it permissible to give Zakat money to centers that teach the Holy Quran, and can the center provide a cash reward to those who memorize the Quran as encouragement? And can Zakat be given throughout the year instead of in one lump sum?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible to pay it to a Quran center that distributes it in this way, and it is permissible to pay it throughout the year as you have preferred, and God knows best.
