Paying Zakat for a Sister
Is it permissible to pay Zakat al-Fitr from a brother to his unmarried sister who lives alone?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible to give Zakat al-Fitr to brothers in general if they are poor, and you will have two rewards: the reward of charity and the reward of kinship, and God knows best.
