Paying the Debt of the Poor from Zakat Money
Is paying the debt of a poor person a category of zakat?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to pay the debt of the poor from the zakat if he agrees to the payment; otherwise, it will not be considered zakat. And God knows best.
