Paying off a debt with the entitlement of Zakat al-Fitr
Is it permissible for me to settle a debt of someone entitled to Zakat al-Fitr instead of giving it directly to them, whether they know about it or not?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to pay the debt of the poor person on the condition that I have the poor person's permission to pay off his debt, and God knows best.
