Participation in the TV Contest
Is it permissible to participate in the Dream program where the participant sends a message to the program at a cost of 70 piastres/minute, and they randomly draw messages, and whoever is chosen wins one hundred thousand dollars, is this permissible?
Answer
I say, and with Allah's success: All these contests are from the gambling that is prohibited by Sharia, so it is forbidden to engage in them, and if money is obtained from them, it is considered impure and forbidden money, and Allah knows best.
