Participating in the Sacrifice of the Calf
God has blessed me with the sacrifice this year, and my husband suggested that I participate with a quarter of the sacrifice (a calf), while the second quarter is for the rest of his brothers. Is it permissible to increase the share for the one making the sacrifice from one-seventh to one-quarter?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to share in the sacrifice of a calf in the manner mentioned as long as the number of participants does not exceed seven, and God knows best.
