I say, and with God's help: If someone other than the follower opens (the prayer) for the imam, the prayer of the imam and the congregation is invalid, whether the one who opens is outside the prayer or in another prayer that is not that of the praying person, and the prayer of the one who opens is also invalid if he is in prayer; because this is teaching and learning, and God knows best.
