I say, and with God's help: You can perform the sacrifice on behalf of your father, so the sacrifice is initially for your father, and it should be done with the intention for him. And Allah, the Exalted, will not deprive you of the reward for your deeds; for He is the Most Generous of the generous. And Allah knows best.
