Obedience to the Husband Takes Precedence Over Others

Question
I came to visit my family’s house, and I live abroad to treat my son — he has a speech delay — and I came with my husband, and there are no issues and we are in agreement. What happened afterwards is that my family does not want me to go with my husband because the treatment period is long, and my husband wants me to go home and return when the treatment period is over. My father told me: If you leave the house, I will be angry with you. Is a father's anger acceptable to the Lord of the Worlds if I return to my house while he is angry with me? Will I be held accountable before Allah?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The father's anger is considered valid if it is in accordance with Islamic law. In this case, it is obligatory for you to obey your husband and go to your home. Disobeying your husband in this situation is a sin, and you must honor your father and treat him well no matter what he says, while also fulfilling your obligations. And God knows best.
