Number of Taraweeh Rak'ahs
I have been praying Taraweeh for my entire life with eight rak'ahs and have never prayed twelve rak'ahs. Have I been praying an innovation my whole life?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: You are rewarded for your prayers, but the Sunnah is twenty rak'ahs for those who wish to achieve it, and God knows best.
