Not Applying the Rules While Reciting the Holy Quran
Is it permissible for me not to apply the rules of Tajweed during recitation even though I know them?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is recommended to apply the rules of recitation and Tajweed during the recitation to increase the reward, but it is not obligatory, and God knows best.
