Nail Biting for the Fasting Person
If I swallow the skin from my lips, can I break my fast, or if I have a child who keeps biting his nails, does that break my fast?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: swallowing the skin of the transparent does not break the fast; because it is from the mouth and is excused, unlike the nail which does break the fast; because it is from the outside, and God knows best.
