Melody in Collective Remembrance
Is it permissible to intone the recitation of dhikr and sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) in gatherings of remembrance or houses of mourning?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The modulation, meaning the enhancement and beautification of the voice, is permissible, but it is not allowed in a manner resembling the actions of singers. And God knows best.
