Marriage to a Believer with Heretical Ideas
What is the ruling on marrying a girl who has embraced the ideas of Shahrour? There is a pious, good-natured girl who has adopted heretical ideas from Shahrour, such as the unity of religions, the non-obligation of hijab, and the belief that there are no prohibitions except for 15 matters. She also denies some issues that the ummah has agreed upon, yet despite all this, she wears the proper hijab and prays and fasts. Is it permissible to marry her?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is preferable to sit with her repeatedly before marriage. If she changes her thoughts after discussing with virtuous people, then he may marry her; otherwise, no. And God knows best.
