Marriage Outside the Court
A man and a woman were with a group of young men and women, and the man said to her: I marry you, and the woman accepted in their presence, and there were witnesses to this. What is the ruling on this marriage?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Such irresponsible actions are not valid in contracts, and it is forbidden for young men and women to gather like this and to act in such a way that belittles this great contract between the spouses. Such a contract must be in the special courts to preserve rights, and outside the courts is questionable. And God knows best.
