Marriage Contract with a Witness Who Does Not Pray
Is the witness to the marriage contract, if he does not pray, required to renew the contract? Does it differ if he left it out of denial or laziness?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: His testimony is valid due to the validity of the testimony of the sinful, and the one who leaves his prayer out of laziness is sinful, unlike the one who leaves prayer out of denial, for he is a disbeliever, and his testimony is not valid. And God knows best.
